On October 22nd, the Wasserman Foundation hosted a day of service in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Raleigh, Toronto and Washington, DC. Nearly 200 volunteers renovated schools in the five US cities and built one house with Habitat for Humanity in Toronto.

Los Angeles

Los Angeles volunteers painted the outdoor recess area and cafeteria at 99th Street Elementary School in Watts.


Miami volunteers helped transform the cafeteria at Sweetwater Elementary School.

New York

New York volunteers painting a giant map of the U.S. on the blacktop at PS. 48 Joseph Drake Elementary School in the Bronx.


Raleigh volunteers worked with Activate Good to build a playground at Pave Academy Charter School.


Volunteers in Toronto built a house with Habitat for Humanity.

Washington, DC

Volunteers in Washington, DC spent the day painting an outdoor mural at Patterson Elementary School.
