On October 22nd, Casey Wasserman and the Wasserman Foundation hosted a successful ‘Wasserman School Day’ with more than 85 Wasserman volunteers from the LA and Carlsbad offices at Stevenson Middle School in Boyle Heights. Wasserman volunteers spent the day painting two large wave murals for the school’s main athletic area.  Brand new basketball backboards were also installed, and the blacktop court lines were repainted prior to the day of service.  To celebrate the new basketball courts, NBA player Jason Collins joined Stevenson students for a game of basketball at the end of the day.
