The UCLA School of Public Affairs Student Fellowship Awards Breakfast was held June 1 at UCLA’s J.D. Morgan Center. Attending the event were SPA graduate students who are fellowship award recipients for 2006-07 as well as some SPA fellowship namesakes. The students had the opportunity to personally thank donors such as Judge Ralph D. Fertig, David Fisher and Calvin Gross. The awards included the Advisory Board Student Fellowship, the James and Judy Bergman family Mental Health Fellowship, the Michael S. Dukakis Internship in Public Policy, the Marjorie Hays Fertig and Ralph D. Fertig Fellowship in Social Justice, the David and Marianna Fisher Fellowship, the Gold Fellowship for Older Adults, the Leon and Toby Gold Fellowship, the Calvin and Marilyn Gross Fellowship, the William Randolp Hearst Fellowship, the Torang Jahan Fellowship, the Los Angeles Mayor’s Fellowship, the Hal E. Martin Scholarship Fund and the Wasserman Fellowship.
