On October 20th, Casey Wasserman and the Wasserman Foundation hosted our 6th annual Wasserman Serve Day, with more than 200 Wasserman employees participating in service projects in six cities across the globe. Volunteers in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Raleigh and London helped transform high-needs schools in their communities, while Toronto volunteers helped build a home with Habitat for Humanity.

Wasserman Serve Day 2016

Los Angeles

Los Angeles volunteers brought some color to 107th Street Elementary in Watts by painting college logos and nature scenes around the school.

Miami

Miami volunteers helped transform the cafeteria at Sweetwater Elementary School.

New York

New York volunteers painted murals for the students at John B. Russwurm Elementary in Harlem to enjoy!

Raleigh

The Raleigh office volunteered at Pave Academy Charter School where they helped plant a new school garden; build and paint new benches; create new bulletin display boards; and had the opportunity to read with the students.

Toronto

Volunteers in Toronto built a house with Habitat for Humanity.

London

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in London spent the day beautifying Ark Globe Academy by painting murals and preparing the outdoor play area for new grass.
