On October 19, 2017, Casey Wasserman and the Wasserman Foundation hosted the 7th annual Wasserman Serve Day. Volunteers in Los Angeles painted STEM themed murals at Markham Middle School in Watts, one of the highest needs neighborhoods in LA

Carlsbad

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in Carlsbad brought some color to Jefferson Elementary by painting games on the school blacktop

Miami

Volunteers in Miami painted a mural at the Multi-Ethnic Youth Group Association Community Center

New York

Volunteers in New York renovated and organized the library at The Brooklyn Landmark Elementary School

Portland

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in Portland repaired and sorted book donations at the Children's Book Bank

Raleigh

Volunteers in Raleigh renovated PAVE Academy, including revitalizing play areas, organizing the library and assembling new garden beds

San Antonio

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in San Antonio renovated three rooms at the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio

Dubai

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in Dubai volunteered with students at the Green Planet educational bio-dome

London

Volunteers in London renovated the library and garden at ARK Globe Academy

The Netherlands

For their first year participating in Serve Day, volunteers in the Netherlands participated in activities with the elderly and disabled residents at Middin, including making and sharing a pancake lunch

Toronto

Volunteers in Toronto helped harvest and plant autumn crops with the PACT Urban Peace Program's "Grow to Learn" garden program at PACT's 1.5 acre farm at a local high school
