The Wasserman Foundation accepts letters of inquiry throughout the year, and these letters must be submitted online. We will consider support only for initiatives and organizations that align with our specific areas of interest (as outlined in the Foundation Initiatives section of the website), as well as fit within the landscape of our strategic plan for giving.
The Wasserman Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals.
If the Wasserman Foundation requests a proposal from an organization and one is ultimately submitted, the applicant will be contacted as to the status of the application in a timely manner. The Wasserman Foundation allocates a large percentage of our funds to preexisting initiatives, and interested applicants need be reminded that only a portion of accepted proposals can therefore be accommodated. Although we acknowledge the importance and urgency of all requests and letters of inquiry, the Wasserman Foundation asks that you allow time for a return response and respect the notion that we cannot act favorable towards all submissions.
Please note that we do not make grants to individuals or fund independent film projects and will only consider organizations defined as a public charity and tax exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
